ADE® and de Merkplaats® 2025 | Masterclass 'Your Name, Your Fame: Trademark Law for the Music Industry'

For years, de Merkplaats has proudly protected the brands and other intellectual property rights of Amsterdam Dance Event®. This year, de Merkplaats® and Amsterdam Dance Event® will once again be working together as partners. Just like in previous years, de Merkplaats will of course be present at the Amsterdam Dance Event from October 22 to 26, when Amsterdam will once again be colored yellow and black. Five days full of music, parties, fun and opportunities for new insights during the conference.

On October 22 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, de Merkplaats will organize a Masterclass in collaboration with Amsterdam Dance Event in the beautiful Felix Meritis at Keizersgracht 324 in Amsterdam. During the Masterclass, Mirjam Mollema LL.M. will explain the important aspects of trademark law and the essence of personal branding on behalf of de Merkplaats by elaborating on how trademark rights can be used to build, defend, and monetize artistic identity.
